Not all shell cordovan is created equal.
Each year, I search for rare shell cordovan hides from some of the world’s most respected tanneries. Unusual color transitions. Experimental finishes. Limited runs. Pieces that may never be produced again.
The Shell Cordovan Collectors Club was created for collectors who appreciate those differences.
Membership includes four handmade shell cordovan card holders per year, delivered quarterly and crafted from carefully selected hides sourced specifically for the club.
In addition to quarterly releases, members receive priority access to collector-grade shell cordovan for bespoke commissions when available.
Membership is intentionally limited to preserve the exclusivity of each release.
Beyond the Quarterly Releases
Collectors Club members receive access unavailable through standard commissions.
Throughout the year, I actively source unusual shell cordovan from tanneries around the world, including special colorways, unique finishes, and limited production hides.
When these opportunities become available, members receive first access to commission bespoke pieces before any remaining material is offered elsewhere.
Some hides may never be available again.
Built to Collect
Every release is handcrafted in Texas, individually finished by hand, produced in limited quantities, and individually serialized as part of that year’s collection.
Each piece is accompanied by a collector card identifying the year, quarter, tannery, and production number.
For the true connoisseur of fine leather, this is a rare opportunity to own a curated collection of the world’s most coveted leathers.
Over the course of one year, you’ll receive four handmade card holders, each crafted in makers choice design and built from shell cordovan sourced from the four legendary tanneries:
• Horween – the heritage American tannery known for its rich depth and traditional finishes
• Rocado – Italian artistry with vibrant colors and refined, polished character
• Ogawa – Japanese precision with subtle, understated elegance
• Shinki – Japan’s most exclusive tannery, producing shell with unmatched clarity and refinement
Each quarter, a new wallet arrives—unique, heirloom quality, and unavailable anywhere else as a complete set.
Each piece is individually serialized, and documented as part of the annual collection.
